Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage provider credentialing and enrollment activities (individual providers and group practices)
Handle Medicare and Medicaid enrollment across multiple states
Manage provider onboarding with payers, including CAQH, PECOS, Medicaid portals, and commercial payer enrollments
Work directly on applications when team workload is high (hands-on execution required)
Review, validate, and submit credentialing applications accurately and within timelines
Coordinate with providers and internal teams via emails, virtual meetings, and calls
Act as the primary point of escalation for credentialing-related issues
Support and guide team members on complex enrollment cases
Ensure compliance with payer-specific credentialing requirements across specialties
Maintain trackers, status reports, and documentation for all enrollments
Adapt quickly to new specialties and payer rules without dependency on templates or rigid SOPs
Skills & Experiences:
Strong experience in Provider Credentialing & Contracting (NOT insurance claims side)
Hands-on experience with:
- Medicare enrollment (PECOS)
- Medicaid enrollment (multi-state exposure required)
- Commercial payer credentialing
- CAQH maintenance and updates
Experience working with multiple specialties and provider groups
Proven ability to handle end-to-end enrollment lifecycle independently
Strong understanding of payer requirements and documentation standards
Experience working in a team lead or senior specialist role
Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
Comfortable interacting with US-based providers and stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
