Position Title: Team Leader
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driver Recruitment and Management:
• Hiring Drivers: Post job ads, call potential candidates, conduct interviews, perform background checks, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed before onboarding.
• Driver Onboarding: Ensure the onboarding process is conducted properly, including the completion of all required documentation.
• Physical Verification & Geo-Tagging: Perform a physical verification of the driver’s residence and geo-tag their house location for operational tracking.
• Driver Attendance: Maintain accurate records of driver attendance, manage leave requests, and arrange replacement drivers as needed.
2. Documentation and Verification:
• Background Checks: Ensure thorough background verification of all drivers, including checking driving records and criminal history by submitting necessary documents (such as Aadhaar card and driving license) to the verification team before deployment.
• Vehicle Handover Documentation: Take appropriate pictures when handing over the vehicle to a new driver and when collecting it back. Ensure that any damages are documented and take necessary actions, including withholding the driver’s salary after discussion with the reporting manager.
3. Driver Communication and Coordination:
• Clear Instructions: Communicate operational requirements clearly to drivers and ensure they understand their tasks.
• Follow-Ups: Conduct regular follow-ups with drivers to monitor progress and address any operational challenges.
4. Operational Efficiency & Cash Handling:
• Smooth Operations: Monitor daily logistics activities to ensure operational efficiency and promptly resolve any disruptions.
• Handling Cash Transactions: Take full responsibility for ensuring that drivers handle cash collected during deliveries properly.
• Legal Process for Misappropriation: In case of any cash or truck misappropriation, initiate necessary legal action in consultation with the reporting manager.
5. Accident & Emergency Handling:
• Accident Response: In case of an accident, visit the spot, assess the situation, and file a complaint if needed. Discuss with third parties and work towards an amicable resolution in consultation with the reporting manager.
• Legal and Insurance Process: If legal procedures are required, ensure proper documentation and follow-through. Provide all necessary details to the reporting manager for insurance claims and vehicle repair.
