UI Developer

Role Overview We are hiring an experienced UI Team Lead to oversee our front-end team, with a focus on delivering scalable, user-centric web applications. This role combines hands-on development, leadership, and innovation in a fast-paced consumer tech environment. Responsibilities Design and develop responsive, scalable user interfaces using React and Node.js. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. Drive technical excellence using modern UI frameworks (e.g., Redux, React Router, Material-UI) and best practices in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to coding and security standards. Requirements 2+ years of full-time professional experience in UI development, with a focus on building complex web applications using React and Node.js (mandatory). Experience working at a consumer tech company of scale (mandatory). Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies. Expertise in modern UI frameworks/libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router, Material-UI). Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end/backend integration. Demonstrated X-factor (e.g., innovative projects, leadership beyond traditional roles) will be given extra weightage. Open-source contributions are highly valued and will be strongly considered. Thoughtfully crafted resumes showcasing relevant experience will be given additional weightage. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven leadership experience (2+ years preferred) in a front-end development role. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
