Role Description The Team Coordinator role at HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Team Coordinator is responsible for organizing daily team activities, managing schedules, and supporting the team in meeting business targets and service standards. This role includes coordinating internal communications, preparing basic reports and updates, and following up on assigned tasks to ensure timely completion. The Team Coordinator will assist with documentation, maintain records, and support adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires close collaboration with managers, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and a consistent customer-focused approach.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities, including managing schedules, maintaining records, and tracking team tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, managers, and customers in a clear, respectful manner.
- Basic proficiency in office productivity tools (such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email) and comfort with learning company systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow processes, with a focus on accuracy in documentation and compliance with company guidelines.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, manage multiple priorities, and support a fast-paced, target-driven insurance environment.
- Prior experience in coordination, administration, or customer service roles is beneficial; experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
