Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Chennai for an Editing & VFX , Teaching Faculty position. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching, guiding, and mentoring students in the areas of editing, visual effects (VFX), and related fields. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans, delivering engaging lectures, assessing student work, mentoring projects, and staying updated with the latest industry trends to ensure students receive cutting-edge training. Collaboration with the academic team to develop and refine course content will be a key aspect of the role. The candidate will also play an active role in organizing workshops and practical sessions to enhance hands-on learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Final Cut Pro , After Effects, Premiere, Davinci, Avid
- Proficiency in Lighting and Compositing techniques
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students in a creative and academic environment
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Prior teaching experience in media studies is a must.
- Degree or professional certification in relevant fields such as Visual Arts, Animation, or Media Production.
