Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Teaching Faculty member at Vig English Schooljsr, located in Gurugram. The responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students, evaluating student performance regularly, maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment, and ensuring adherence to the school's curriculum standards. Faculty members are also expected to actively participate in school activities, provide guidance and mentorship to students, and contribute to the overall academic and cultural development of the institution.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in the respective teaching discipline
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
- Experience in curriculum planning, lesson preparation, and innovative instructional strategies
- Organization and time-management skills for maintaining records, assessments, and lesson plans
- Capacity to collaborate with fellow educators and foster a team spirit
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for students
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant subject area; a B.Ed. degree or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred
- Previous teaching experience, particularly with classes and curriculum under the Indian School Certificate Examination, is an advantage
