Role Description The Teaching Faculty role at RAO IIT & MEDICAL is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The faculty member will plan, deliver, and review classroom sessions for IIT-JEE and related competitive exam preparation, using structured lesson plans and exam-focused strategies. Responsibilities include creating and updating teaching materials, assigning and evaluating tests and assignments, and providing academic guidance to learners based on performance analytics. The role involves conducting doubt-clearing sessions, mentoring students on exam techniques and time management, and collaborating with other faculty members to maintain high teaching standards. Faculty members are also expected to participate in periodic training, faculty meetings, and academic events organized by the institution.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics, preferably at the level required for IIT-JEE and medical entrance examinations.
- Proven classroom teaching or coaching experience in competitive exam preparation, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and logically.
- Ability to design and use structured lesson plans, tests, and practice materials aligned with current exam patterns and syllabi.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a student-centered approach and the ability to motivate diverse learners.
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline (e.g., M.Sc., M.Tech, Ph.D.), preferably from a reputed institution; prior experience at coaching institutes is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and mentoring skills to track student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support learners in improving outcomes.
- Commitment to professional ethics, punctuality, and teamwork, with readiness to contribute to academic planning and institutional initiatives.
