About the University and the Role

The Teaching Assistant / Research Assistant (TA/RA) supports faculty in delivering high-quality teaching, academic research, and scholarly outputs. This role is critical to enhancing classroom effectiveness, research productivity, and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching Support
- Assist faculty in course preparation, including lecture materials, presentations, case studies, and assessments
- Support classroom activities such as tutorials, labs, discussion sessions, and group work
- Help evaluate assignments, quizzes, and exams under faculty guidance
- Maintain course documentation and academic records
- Support students with academic queries and learning resources
Research Support
- Assist in literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and documentation
- Support preparation of research papers, reports, conference submissions, and grant proposals
- Manage research databases and ensure accuracy of references and citations
- Coordinate research timelines and track deliverables
Administrative & Academic Support
- Schedule academic meetings, tutorials, and research discussions
- Assist with accreditation, academic audits, or curriculum documentation when required
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant academic discipline
- Strong academic writing, research, and analytical skills
Required Skills
- Familiarity with research tools, academic databases, and citation styles
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; research software is an advantage
- High attention to detail, time management, and academic integrity
