Role Description This is a full-time, remote Teacher role focused on delivering engaging online instruction through Alphabit School’s digital platform. The Teacher will plan and facilitate virtual lessons, monitor student progress, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating lesson plans, providing timely feedback on assignments, and communicating regularly with students and caregivers through messages, video sessions, and other digital tools. The Teacher will also use platform data and assessments to track performance, identify learning gaps, and adjust instructional strategies. Additional duties include collaborating with other educators, participating in training on new tools and curriculum updates, and contributing to a positive, inclusive online learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience delivering instruction in an online or blended learning environment.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including aligning activities and assessments with learning objectives and standards.
- Excellent Communication and Training skills to explain concepts clearly, guide learners, and collaborate effectively with families and colleagues.
- Ability to use educational technology platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital resources to create interactive and accessible learning experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; relevant teaching certification or licensure preferred, where applicable.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices and the ability to support learners with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in a remote work setting, and comfort using data to inform instruction and feedback.
