Role Description The Teacher Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Delhi Area. The Teacher Assistant supports lead teachers in planning and delivering lessons, preparing classroom materials, and supervising students during instructional and non-instructional activities. Responsibilities include reinforcing learning concepts, assisting with classroom management, supporting children individually or in small groups, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. The role also involves collaborating with staff, participating in school activities, and communicating with families as needed to support student progress. The Teacher Assistant contributes to a positive, inclusive learning space that promotes respect, curiosity, and academic growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Assistant Teaching and classroom support, including helping implement lesson plans and learning activities.
- Strong Communication abilities for interacting effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Background or training in Education, with an understanding of child development and early learning principles.
- Comfort and competence in Mathematics to assist students with basic numeracy and related classroom tasks.
- Experience Working With Children in educational or childcare settings, with a patient and supportive approach.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a relevant diploma or degree in education or child development, proficiency in English and local languages, basic computer skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse school environment.
