Azure Solutions & Presales Head – Cloud Transformation
Experience Range: 12 to 20 Years
Location: PAN India
Required Technical Skill Set: Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Cloud Strategy & Reference Architecture, Large-Scale Migration & Modernization, Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Integration, Security & Compliance Governance, FinOps / Cost Optimization, DevOps & Platform Engineering, Presales Excellence & Deal Solutioning
Desired Experience Range: 12–18 Years (including leadership in Azure presales/solutioning, owning large pursuits and guiding cross-functional teams)
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud services with hands-on solution ownership
• Proven leadership in Azure presales: deal shaping, solution strategy, storyboarding and win themes
• Ability to define reference architectures and govern end-to-end designs across migration, modernization, security, networking and operations
• Strong executive stakeholder management; ability to influence CxO/VP-level decisions and run customer workshops/steerco sessions
• Strong commercial acumen: estimation, pricing inputs, risk management and value articulation (TCO/ROI)
• Ability to mentor and lead cross-functional solution teams (architects, SMEs, partners) under bid timelines
• Experience leading pursuits for European customers; understanding of regional compliance (e.g., GDPR) and data residency expectations
• Partner ecosystem experience (Microsoft, ISVs, SIs) and ability to position joint offerings
• Exposure to multi-cloud (Azure + AWS/GCP) and integration patterns
• Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) and/or FinOps / security certifications
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
Own Azure solution strategy and presales leadership for RFP/RFI/RFQ/RFS and proactive opportunities across the Europe region.
Define and govern end-to-end Azure reference architectures covering migration, modernization, security, networking, landing zones and operating model.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional bid teams (sales, enterprise architects, delivery, partners) to build differentiated, compliant and competitive cloud solutions.
Engage senior customer stakeholders to understand business outcomes and translate them into scalable, secure and cost-effective Azure transformation roadmaps.
Own solution commercials: effort estimation, costing, assumptions/risks, inputs to pricing, and value cases including TCO/ROI/FinOps levers.
Lead executive-ready solution storytelling: presentations, POVs, customer workshops, and solution defenses; act as the Azure authority in pursuit governance.
Ensure solution compliance with regional data residency, security, regulatory and contractual requirements; drive design assurance and approvals.
Build and mentor a high-performing Azure solutioning community: coaching, reviews, playbooks, reusable assets and capability development.
Drive Europe GTM for Azure offerings by standardizing solution assets, aligning with Microsoft/partner ecosystem, and tracking market/technology trends to incubate new propositions.
