Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position with Elios Management Consulting for the TB Project under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP), based in New Delhi. The role involves overseeing diagnostic processes, laboratory operations, quality control, and disease management to support TB elimination efforts. Responsibilities also include data management, community outreach, and coordination with healthcare facilities and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
Role Summary:
The Block Program Manager will lead the implementation and monitoring of NTEP activities at the block level using the Nikshay platform. This role focuses on ensuring effective TB patient care, coordinating with the government health system, managing field teams, and driving program performance to achieve desired health outcomes.

Location: Andhra Pradesh :- Parvathipuram Manyam & Srikakulam / Karnataka :- Bidar & Raichur/ Odisha: Nabarangapur, Koraput, Malkangiri / Jharkhand: Sahibganj, Pakur,Dumka / Madhya Pradesh:Dhar, Khargone (West Nimar), Barwani / Chhatisgarh: Sukma,Bastar (Jagdalpur ),Dantewada
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage all block level activities.
Program Implementation: Plan, implement, and monitor TB program activities under NTEP at the block level.
Support achievement of TB elimination targets through effective execution.
Ensure proper linkage of diagnosed patients to treatment and care services.
Nikshay & Patient Management: Ensure timely and accurate updating of TB patient data on the Nikshay portal.
Track patient treatment adherence, outcomes, and follow-ups.
Facilitate patient support services including counseling and referrals.
Coordination with Government Health System:
Work closely with district and block-level health officials (DTO, Medical Officers, ANMs, ASHAs, etc.).
Ensure alignment with the government health hierarchy.
Participate in review meetings and support reporting mechanisms.
Field Operations: Conduct regular field visits for patient verification, follow-up, and supervision.
Engage with communities for TB awareness and case detection.
Identify implementation gaps and recommend corrective measures.
Data Management & Reporting: Maintain program data and generate reports using MS Excel.
Analyze performance indicators and share actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with reporting timelines.
Team Management: Lead, manage, and supervise a team of approximately 10 field staff.
Conduct training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Ensure effective team coordination and productivity.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of NTEP guidelines and TB control strategies.
• Experience working with the Nikshay system.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (data tracking, reporting, basic analysis).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in field settings and build stakeholder relationships.
• Leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
Experience Required:
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in public health programs.
• Prior experience in TB projects or government health programs is preferred.
• Experience in field-based roles.
• Proven experience in handling and leading a team of at least 10 members.
Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree in: Public Health (MPH)/ Master of Social Work (MSW) / Or related field

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine
- Experience with Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Skills
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare project environment
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/DMRT) or related field is preferred
- Prior experience with healthcare or TB-related projects is an advantage
