Job Description – Senior Manager / Chief Manager - Taxation
1. Role Summary
To lead and manage our organization's tax planning, compliance, and advisory functions & ensure compliance with all local and international tax regulations, optimize tax strategies, and support business decisions from a tax perspective.
2. Key Duties & Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the organization’s tax compliance including direct and indirect taxes (e.g., Income tax, GST).
· Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies aligned with business objectives and evolving regulations.
· Oversee timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and coordinate with external consultants and auditors.
· Ensure adherence to transfer pricing rules and documentation requirements.
· Identify and mitigate tax risks; ensure proper internal controls are in place.
· Handle tax assessments, audits, and litigation with tax authorities.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess tax implications of business transactions and new initiatives.
· Monitor changes in tax laws and evaluate their impact on the company.
· Help the payroll team in processing income tax of the employees and other process.
· Must attend assessments & appeal for ITAT.
3. Candidate Profile, Skills & Requirements:

Qualification CA/MBA
Age & Work Experience 40 yrs & Above; 20 yrs exp
Preferred Industries Any Service Industry. Handling multiple division will an additional advantage
Skills
· Minimum 20-25 years of experience in taxation.
· In-depth knowledge of corporate tax laws, GST/VAT, transfer pricing.
· Experience in managing tax audits and assessments.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Proficiency in tax compliance tools.
