Role Description The Taxation Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Srinagar. The Taxation Executive will prepare and review tax returns, compute tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. The role includes maintaining organized records, managing documentation, and coordinating with clients to gather required information. The Taxation Executive will support tax planning activities, respond to tax notices, and assist in audits or assessments when needed. The position also involves staying updated on changes in tax legislation and collaborating with colleagues to improve processes and client service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including tax return preparation and compliance.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial accounting, basic bookkeeping, and analysis of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in tax-related software, office productivity tools, and data management systems.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and authorities.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple assignments in an on-site environment.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience or internships in taxation, accounting, or audit will be considered an advantage.
