Role Description The Tax Preparer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses in accordance with applicable tax laws and regulations. The role includes gathering and organizing client financial information, verifying documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry into tax preparation software. The Tax Preparer will analyze financial statements, identify potential deductions and credits, and communicate with clients to clarify information and explain tax outcomes. Day-to-day tasks also involve staying updated on changes in tax law, maintaining detailed records, and supporting the team during peak filing periods to meet deadlines. The Tax Preparer will collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex tax issues and contribute to improving internal processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax Preparation and practical understanding of Tax requirements.
- A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional tax certifications are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in tax preparation or accounting, especially in an on-site professional services environment, is beneficial.
