Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Manager located in Kolkata. The Tax Manager will oversee all aspects of tax planning, preparation, and compliance to ensure clients meet regulatory requirements effectively. Day-to-day tasks include managing the preparation and review of tax returns, providing guidance on tax law and compliance, developing tax strategies to optimize client savings, and staying updated on changes in tax legislation. The Tax Manager will also lead a team of professionals and collaborate with clients to deliver tailored financial solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Tax Planning and Tax Strategies development
- Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance and meeting regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Tax Preparation, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions
- Comprehensive understanding of Tax Law and application in diverse scenarios
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex tax challenges
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor and guide team members
