As a Tax Managed Services APAC International Associate, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax practice. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions, confirming they meet their obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements and projects, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations. Responsibilities
Assist in the handling shared inbox and respond to Legal entities queries related to tax forms.
- Ensuring FATCA compliance for new Legal entities, including maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Prepare relevant Tax and CRS forms based on Legal entities Tax and FATCA classifications.
- Liaison with relevant teams and ensure task completion within the expected TAT.
- Collect tax documentation and review for completion.
- Call IRS to generate EIN.
- Update and maintain and liaison with relevant team to ensuring end‑to‑end data quality through standardized checks, validations, and controls.
- Support process improvements, system enhancements, and data transition initiatives.
- Upload tax documents in MDM and run validation checks on weekly and ad hoc basis.
- Partner with technology, data, tax, and operations teams to improve data reliability.
What You Must Have
- Candidate must be a Postgraduate or Graduate with knowledge in International Taxation.
- 1-3 years’ experience in International Tax and FATCA/CRS reporting, AEOI Reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Very good written & spoken communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to write effectively and summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly.
- Good analytical skills & problem-solving skills.
- Pro-active & positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Have the ability to escalate issues on time to ensure quick resolution.
- The candidate is a self-starter that thrives on complexity and solution finding.
- Good phone & email etiquette.
- Open to work in APAC Shift
