Role Description The Tax Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Tax Executive will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax computations, returns, and related documentation while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Day-to-day activities include analyzing financial data, coordinating with the accounting team, supporting tax audits and assessments, and maintaining accurate tax records. The role also involves researching tax updates, assisting in tax planning initiatives, and providing clear summaries and reports for internal stakeholders and clients. The Tax Executive will collaborate with colleagues across functions to support timely and accurate financial and tax reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Experience working with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow impacts.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and support tax planning and compliance.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications - a CA
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tax/accounting software, attention to detail, and strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage deadlines, collaborate effectively in a team, and communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders.
