A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Complaince and Reporting: Responsible for preparation of medium and complex
GST/HST, PST and QST Canadian returns.
- Technical Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues and
legislative changes, providing detailed technical analysis and advice.
- Project Management: Ensuring the deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Technology Utilzation: Utilizing advanced technology tools to enhance the accuracy and
efficiency of tax complaince and reporting processes.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train junior staff on technical aspects of indirect tax
complaince and the use of technology in tax preparation.
- Delivering a high-quality product within the agreed time frames.
- Provide day to day support to Managers to assist with the delivery of tax computations and
client service.
- Liaise with various sub teams to enable collection and analysis of tax data.
- Deal with client queries in relation to data requests during data exchange by exception or as
escalated.
- Participate in conference calls with engagement team, other PwC team members and
Clients.
- Buddying junior staff members on basic tax technical and tax compliance process matters.
- Build relationships both within the firm and externally with clients, identifying opportunities
and expectations and provide high levels of client service.
- Responsible for day-to-day engagement team liaison.
- Follow firms best practice and policy around the compliance process.
Requirements
- Work experience in same industry for 3-6 years.
- Should be able to handle a group of associates
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to details and accracy
- Ability to comprehend instructions and take ownership of work entrusted.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools with working knowledge of multiple ERP systems.
- Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
- Share and collaborate effectively with others, create a positive team spirit.
- Ability to handle large engagements
- Project management skills, plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines, monitor own
utilisation.
