Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Accountant located in Ahmedabad. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and managing tax returns, researching tax laws, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting financial reporting processes. The role also involves analyzing financial data, handling tax-related audits, and identifying opportunities for tax savings while staying updated with new tax practices and laws.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Taxation, Compliance, and Tax-related Auditing
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Preparing Tax Returns, and Financial Reporting
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification is a plus
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is preferred but not mandatory
