Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tax Accountant role based in Rajkot. The Tax Accountant will prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accurate calculations and timely filing in line with applicable regulations. The role includes managing tax compliance activities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, and supporting tax planning initiatives under the guidance of senior team members. The Tax Accountant will assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate accounting records. Responsibilities also include coordinating with internal teams and clients to gather required documentation, responding to tax-related queries, and contributing to process improvements within the tax function.
Qualifications
- Strong tax skills, including Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation, with the ability to apply current laws and regulations accurately.
- Proficiency in Accounting and Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and analysis for tax and reporting purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Solid understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations, with a commitment to staying current on legislative changes.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused and collaborative working style.
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software and intermediate skills in MS Excel or similar tools.
