About the role

We're looking for an established 3D rigger to join us on our latest animation production, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. What you'll do: Build and maintain complex rigs for 3D characters including quadruped animals. Work closely with the animation team to ensure smooth, natural movement that brings our characters to life. Test and refine rigs ensuring efficiency and longevity. Collaborate with the modelling team and animation team to ensure rigs meet technical requirements and artistic goals. Stay up to date with the latest tools and techniques to enhance our pipeline and workflows. What we're looking for: Proven experience as a 3D rigger with a solid portfolio showcasing both quadruped and biped rigs. Knowledge of skinning, weight painting, and deformation techniques. Expertise in 3D rigging techniques in Maya. Experience with creating rigs to work within Unreal Engine including implementation and testing. A problem solver who is comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
