About the role
We are looking for a motivated engineer with solid technical background to develop computational fluid dynamics model for solid fluid interaction, heat transfer and lubrication. The scope of projects can be adjusted based on the individual's skills we hire, but he/she needs to meet the following qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline.
2+ yrs experience in building physics-based models.
2+ years modeling experience with openFOAM, or other open source CFD software.
In depth knowledge and advanced course work in computational fluid dynamics, heat & mass transfer.
Demonstrated research capability such as publication in reputed engineering journals.
Highly motivated to initiate project ideas and see through project deliverables. Passion for innovation.
Desirable Qualifications:
Prior experience with lubrication and tribology.
Knowledge of multiphase flow modeling.
Knowledge in rheology, and experience in solving solid-fluid interaction problem.
Knowledge of coding using Python.
