ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Responsibilities

Process Delivery (50%)
|
- Analyse accounts master, cost/ profit centre
- Review of SLAs and standards of the team
- Update processes, SOX, SLAs, standards in the system
- Review and approval of financial statements for statutory and regulatory reporting purposes
- Accountable for meeting and prioritising own targets/ deadlines and those of others within agreed standards and procedures
- Control the processing requirements within their area
- During start-up phase, provide “hand on” General Ledger Accounting for complex transactions

Exceptional Handling (10%)
|
- Identify potential sensitive issues and escalate to the appropriate level
- Act as a first point of contact for escalation and resolve reconciliation issues escalated by team members
- Perform Root cause analysis for SLA noncompliance and take corrective action
- Analyse and manage exceptions arising out of Auto posting of accounts
- Manage exceptions arising out of batch interface
- Support HR in recruitment

Training & Mentoring (10%)
|
- Motivate R2R team members to achieve team targets and performance standards
- Coach and support team members to achieve performance expectations
- Provide advice to colleagues in the team on technical areas
- Support HR in recruitment

|
Reporting (10%)
|
- Communicate assignments, milestones and deadlines to the team and the individuals based on Tower Lead’s instructions
- Provide information to the Tower Lead on work accomplishments, problems, progress in work processes, individuals and team needs
- Report Process Dashboards on various performance metrics internally to the R2R Tower Lead
- Presentation of results and explanation of performance with Finance teams

Quality Assurance and SLA Adherence (10%)
|
- Improve operational efficiency by exploring new ways of working through process improvements
- Innovate ways to automate process by rolling out quality initiatives
- Adherence to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) agreed with the business in Accuracy, Productivity and Customer Satisfaction
- Implement better work practices to achieve high standards of work and maintain established work procedures
- Provide quality service/ advice in accordance with agreed service standards

SOX Compliance and Control (10%)
|
- Ensure proper documentation for Internal controls and SOX requirements and play active part in the audits
- Resolve queries from Internal and External Auditors and Quality related audits
