KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Traffic & Transport Planning
- Lead and deliver Traffic Impact Assessments (TIA) and Traffic & Transportation Studies for residential, commercial, mixed‑use, and infrastructure projects.
- Undertake traffic surveys, data analysis, and demand forecasting.
- Prepare traffic circulation plans, access and parking studies, and mobility strategies.
- Develop mitigation measures for congestion, safety, and operational efficiency.

Modelling & Analysis
- Perform and review traffic and transport modelling, including:
- Junction and corridor analysis
- Capacity analysis of intersections and road networks
- Public transport and non‑motorized transport assessments
- Use appropriate traffic modelling and analysis tools (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA, VISUM, TransCAD or equivalent).

Sustainable Mobility Integration
- Integrate sustainable mobility principles, including:
- Public transport prioritization
- Pedestrian and cyclist‑friendly design
- Transit‑oriented development (TOD) concepts
- Coordinate with sustainability and urban planning teams to deliver low‑carbon and people‑centric transport solutions.

Codes, Standards & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- Relevant Indian Road Congress (IRC) codes and guidelines
- Local authority requirements and development regulations
- Support statutory approvals and authority submissions with technically sound documentation.

|
Project & Client Management
- Manage projects from study initiation through final delivery.
- Act as a client‑facing technical lead, presenting findings, recommendations, and design solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, planners, infrastructure engineers, and government authorities.
- Identify project risks, issues, and complexities and implement mitigation measures.

Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and review work of traffic engineers, planners, and analysts.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of team outputs.
- Promote best practices, innovation, and continuous professional development.
