Codevita Contest

TCS CodeVita is a global coding contest for the student community organized by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). It is a 24-hour online programming contest where a participant can log in from anywhere, at any time. This objective has allowed CodeVita to encourage young and budding coding enthusiasts to sharpen their programming skills through a series of intriguing real-life challenges across a stretch of 3 Rounds and an opportunity to win the coveted 'World's Best Coder' title. First held in 2012 to spread awareness about coding, TCS CodeVita has helped introduce thousands of students to the concept of programming as a sport. The ninth season of TCS' homegrown competitive programming event TCS CodeVita won the Guinness World Records™ title for the world's largest computer programming competition, with 136,054 students participating from across 34 countries. 11th edition Global coding competition held in the physical format after two years, saw a record number of registrations by 444K+ students across 94 countries The grand finale was held in Mumbai, India saw 25 finalists from 9 countries face off in the competition. This year, 23 year-old Martin Andrighetti from Chile triumphed, winning the prestigious title and a cash prize of $10,000. The runners-up Zhiwei Dai from People's Republic of China and Vannes Wijaya from Singapore were awarded $7,000 and $3,000, respectively.
