Project Note: Digital Marketing Intern – Growth & Channel Innovation

Project Duration: 6 months

Project Objective

We are onboarding a Digital Marketing Intern to accelerate growth through creator-led content, new channel exploration, and private label scaling. The intern will focus on strengthening our creative ecosystem, testing untapped channels, and driving deeper brand engagement to maximize marketing ROI.

Key Project Areas & Deliverables

■ Creator-Led Creative Pipeline

  • Build a structured pipeline of creators and influencers using affiliate networks such as Wishlink and Tyroo.
  • Coordinate with creators to produce short-form content and video ads for use in Partnership Ads, Collab Ads, PMax, and ASC campaigns.
  • Develop content taxonomy and tagging framework for creative library management.
  • Set up creative performance tracking—analyzing engagement rate, CTR, conversion lift, and cost per asset performance.
  • Partner with the design and performance teams to create A/B testing frameworks for creative variants (e.g., product-focused vs lifestyle-focused).
  • Establish a “creator content leaderboard” to benchmark top-performing creators and formats.

■ New Channel Exploration

  • Explore potential in emerging platforms such as Snapchat, Reddit for brand discovery and lower-funnel conversions.
  • Benchmark platform costs (CPM, CPC, CPA), audience overlaps, and engagement quality.
  • Execute small-scale pilot campaigns and record comparative performance with Meta and Google benchmarks.
  • Create a channel readiness report outlining test learnings, opportunities, and scale-up recommendations.
  • Support development of Tata CLiQ’s presence on experimental channels through test-and-learn models.

■ Scaling Private Labels

  • Collaborate with internal brand and category teams to identify high-growth private label brands.
  • Develop creative and targeting strategies customized for private labels.
  • Support remarketing and awareness campaigns to grow their share in key categories.
  • Analyze campaign performance to uncover audience insights, cross-sell opportunities, and pricing elasticity.
  • Create a “Private Label Playbook” with creative, audience, and offer learnings.

■ Brand-Level Growth Analysis

Conduct brand-wise performance analysis to understand contribution, efficiency, and growth trends.

Identify high-potential brands and recommend strategies to scale them multifold through targeted marketing interventions.

Support the Performance Marketing team in category and brand growth planning using data-backed insights.

■ Cross-Functional Learning & Innovation

  • Partner with Category, Affiliate, and Creative teams to ensure alignment on goals and messaging.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for festive or category-specific campaigns (e.g., Watches, Beauty, Fashion).
  • Share periodic “Emerging Trends Reports” covering competitor creative strategies, channel adoption, and influencer-led performance tactics.

Expected Outcomes by End of Internship

  • End-to-end creator pipeline established with 100+ videos produced for ad use cases.
  • 1–2 successful pilot campaigns executed on new channels with post-campaign reports.
  • Comprehensive “Private Label Growth Playbook” delivered with data-backed recommendations.
  • Standardized creative performance dashboard or leaderboard framework.
  • Contributions toward creative innovation, channel diversification, and performance uplift.
