<div class="benefits"> <div><strong>Benefits:</strong></div> <ul> <li>401(k)</li> <li>Bonus based on performance</li> <li>Company parties</li> <li>Opportunity for advancement</li> <li>Paid time off</li> <li>Training & development</li> </ul> </div> <div class="trix-content"> <div><strong>Position Overview</strong></div><div>The Interior Systems Carpenter will support multiple minor construction task orders at Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field.</div><div>This role focuses on <strong>high-quality installation of interior finishes</strong>, including flooring systems, ceiling tile systems, finish carpentry, and punch-out work.</div><div>The ideal candidate is a <strong>productive, detail-oriented installer who can work independently or lead small tasks within a multi-trade crew environment.</strong> </div><div><br></div><div><strong>✅ Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul> <li>Install flooring systems including:<ul> <li>Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT)</li> <li>Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)</li> <li>Carpet Tile</li> <li>Sheet Vinyl</li> </ul> </li> <li>Install and repair ACT ceiling systems including:<ul> <li>Grid layout and installation</li> <li>Ceiling tile installation</li> <li>Light fixture / diffuser coordination</li> <li>Repairs and replacements</li> </ul> </li> <li>Perform finish carpentry tasks including:<ul> <li>Baseboard and trim installation</li> <li>Door hardware adjustments</li> <li>Blocking and backing installation</li> <li>Minor drywall patch and finish work</li> </ul> </li> <li>Complete punch list and turnover work</li> <li>Maintain clean and organized work areas</li> <li>Work safely in occupied and controlled environments</li> <li>Coordinate daily tasks with Superintendent and Multi-Trade Lead</li> </ul><div><br></div><div><strong>🎯 Qualifications</strong></div><div><strong>Required Experience</strong></div><ul> <li>3+ years installing commercial flooring systems</li> <li>3+ years installing ACT ceiling systems</li> <li>Experience performing finish carpentry and punch-out work</li> <li>Ability to read basic construction drawings and layouts</li> <li>Experience working on military bases, hospitals, or schools preferred</li> </ul><div><strong>Skills</strong></div><ul> <li>Strong layout ability</li> <li>High production mindset</li> <li>Attention to detail and pride in workmanship</li> <li>Ability to work within a fast-paced task order environment</li> <li>Reliable transportation and ability to pass base background check</li> </ul> </div>
