Role Summary

As the Founder's Office Associate for Strategy & Ops, you'll partner directly with Tartan's founder to build scalable systems across finance, strategic planning, internal operations, and people functions. You'll own investor communications, drive operational excellence, and ensure the company has the infrastructure and clarity needed to scale successfully. This role offers remarkable scope, impact, and learning for ambitious MBA graduates seeking to develop a comprehensive toolkit for startup leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain financial dashboards tracking key business metrics and runway.
• Prepare investor updates and board materials that showcase company progress.
• Design and implement company-wide OKR systems and operational cadences.
• Support strategic planning processes and competitive analysis.
• Develop and optimize internal communication systems and meeting rhythms.
• Help design performance management and team development programs.
• Support fundraising efforts and Series A preparation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the founder on strategic and operational decisions.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• MBA (Optional) graduate with 3-5 years of work experience.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in high-performance environments: consulting, VC, finance, and startup operations.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
