The Sales Manager (Corporate) is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition, development, and management of corporate group business, including but not limited to corporate retreats, conferences, board meetings, social events, affinity groups, ski clubs and wholesale clients. This role owns the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and relationship development through contracting and seamless handoff to event execution—ensuring a high-quality, frictionless client experience aligned with the Taos Ski Valley brand.
This position requires a strategic seller who can generate new demand, manage a robust pipeline, and convert high-value opportunities while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation & Pipeline Management
Proactively source and secure new group business across key segments
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
Identify and pursue high-value opportunities that align with resort positioning and capacity.
Partner closely with Revenue Management to align group pricing, inventory strategy, and availability, ensuring optimal revenue performance and strategic account selection.
Track and report on sales performance against goals, using data to inform strategy and drive results, while managing budgets to ensure efficient and profitable revenue growth
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective, contracted, and repeat business clients.
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships that drive conversion and repeat business.
- Delivering compelling site tours and presentations that showcase the full resort experience.
Sales Process & Contracting
- Lead the sales process from inquiry through contract execution.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and concessions in alignment with revenue goals and guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely proposals, contracts, and follow-up communication.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Private Events Manager and resort-wide cross-functional teams for seamless event handoff and execution
- Align with marketing on lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Communicate client needs clearly to ensure delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Provide insights to inform pricing, packaging, and sales strategy.
- Contribute to ongoing refinement of group sales approach and segmentation focus.
Personal Skills:
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently with excellent time management skills.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, understand needs, and deliver a high-touch experience.

- Experience selling luxury or destination travel experiences preferred.
- Familiarity with ski industry or mountain resort operations

Qualifications:
- 3 - 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality, resort, or event sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, Teams).
Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holidays and Peak days. TSVI is in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff. Travel will be required during trade shows, industry events and client visits.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
20% of time spent standing/walking. 60% of time at a computer. 20% of time spent moving objects - potential lifting 10-25lbs, rarely up to 50lbs, and using a dolly and/or equipment.
