Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tank Maintenance Engineer based in Bengaluru. The Tank Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities, inspecting and diagnosing issues in storage tanks, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and maintaining maintenance records. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, provide technical support, and develop innovative solutions for tank systems. The ideal candidate will also participate in root cause analysis and contribute to the development of improvements in engineering processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of storage tanks and related systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols, compliance standards, and industry regulations in maintenance
- Expertise in mechanical engineering concepts, repair techniques, and material selection
- Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, equipment, and software for maintenance activities
- Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams and adapt to on-site environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- Experience in the energy, oil and gas, or infrastructure sectors is a plus
