About the role

About Us:

Tampa Family Health Centers, Inc. (TFHC) was founded in 1984. The concept of TFHC was the result of a ‘grass roots’ effort sought to provide health care for the poor and uninsured residents of the inner city of Tampa. The proposal grew out of the “Mode City” initiative of the early eighties.

Growing from taking care of the homeless population to taking care of the underinsured and Medicaid HMO population, we now have 18 easily accessible locations, telemedicine options and mobile medical and dental units. TFHC provides a full range of comprehensive, integrated services including Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology / Obstetrics, Family Planning, Senior Care, Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Dental (Pediatric & Adult) Pharmacy and more!

Today, TFHC is one of the largest federally qualified health centers (FQHC) in the state of Florida. As a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization, we are dedicated to providing high quality, accessible health care to the Hillsborough County community.

Benefits:

Our competitive employee benefits include insurances for health, dental, life and disability. We provide 7 paid holidays and a Paid Time Off program, which begins with an accrual rate equal to 15 days annually. We also have a 401k program for long term savings.
