Senior SCADA Engineer

As a Senior SCADA Engineer, you will be a key member of the team responsible for managing and enhancing the IT/OT components of our SCADA systems, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and security. Leading large-scale projects and setting standards, you will drive innovation and efficiency across the organization. Your role involves resolving complex technical issues, mentoring team members, and making critical decisions with a high degree of autonomy. Required Skills: Technical Skills Experience in oil and/or natural gas industry. Knowledge may include standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements. Production accounting, measurements systems, automation experience a plus. Extensive SCADA experience required. Experience with CygNet and/or Wonderware a plus; familiarity with both systems is a significant advantage. SCADA understanding should include components, protocols and application in various industries. Skilled in optimizing and troubleshooting complex system architectures, ensuring robust performance and reliability. Proficient in data querying and visualization tools (examples may include SQL, Python, Power BI, Spotfire, etc). Proven track record of reducing system errors, preventing data loss, improving system performance, and ensuring system resilience. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for decision-making in complex, dynamic environments.
