Support the planning, development and execution of the Company’s Integrated Logistics Solutions (“ILS”) at an Executive level. Provide executive level leadership to the various development, commercial and execution teams to evaluate the various opportunities, strategies, development and execution of potential power plant developments across the United States and in close coordination with the Company Commercial team for site optimization and selection. EPC projects to meet company objectives.
Minimum requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Project Management, legal profession or a related discipline.
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
- Demonstrated superior leadership outcomes in the areas of leading self, leading others, and leading an execution organization.
- Proven ability to drive positive changes with continuous improvement.
- Proven track record of successful, innovative leadership and delivery of performance results in complex operations, maintenance, or engineering activities.
- Minimum of twenty (20) years’ direct work experience in engineering, legal, or project management of power plants and related facilities.
- Must have full complement of project management skills including project scoping and estimating utilizing work breakdown structures, cost and schedule control, design and construction management, team building, resource planning, procurement and permitting.
- Must be able to understand the needs of the business unit(s) for which development work is being performed.
- Must possess basic understanding of power plant projects.
- Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to the ability to present ideas, proposals and results to business segment leaders and to internal and external customers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily work, including tracking and managing large projects, and see projects to completion while maintaining strict confidentiality (as necessary).
- Must possess general understanding of how corporate policies, procedures, practices and processes relate to the Pipeline business segment, associated business units and internal and external customers.
- Understanding of basic economic analysis as it pertains to project justification.
- Ability to identify and establish expectations in an employee/employer relationship (subordinate/manager).
- Solid leadership, communication, motivation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage projects(s) that will include working with individuals with varying disciplines, backgrounds and experience levels.
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations and agencies such as DOT, OSHA and various state counterparts.
- Familiarity with FERC, DOT, NEC, ASME, API, and ASTM and other specifications, standards, and recommended practices typical in the natural gas or hazardous liquid transportation industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing large departmental and development project budgets.
- Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

Working Conditions:
- Frequent overtime may be required.
- Typical workday is spent in an office or field environment. For work performed out of doors, weather conditions vary and can be extreme, depending upon location assignment and may include severe seasonal changes which are primarily influenced by geographic location.

Supervisory Responsibility:
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:
- Advanced degree in Engineering, planning, legal or a related field.
- Training in project management software and techniques including project scoping and estimating utilizing work breakdown structures, cost and schedule control systems, design and construction management, team building, resource planning, procurement, and permitting is a plus.
- Knowledge of power plants, related facilities and design, development, execution and operations of power facilities.
