About the role
TalkPath Live partners with schools to provide remote services to students, during school hours, and is currently hiring a certified and experienced Teacher of Students with Visual Impairment for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a fully virtual position, working from home. We bring providers on board as independent contractors, therefore, you can determine the days of the week you would like to work and the hours within the school day.
This is a truly rewarding opportunity for caring teachers who are looking for flexible hours, autonomy, and a deep sense of fulfillment that comes with affecting a real impact in their students' lives.
No telepractice experience is necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
-Teachers should be independent, creative, flexible, and comfortable working on their own computers from home
-Excellent communication skills via email and phone
-Full VIT certification in CA
-Functional understanding of electronic devices
-A reliable Internet connection and a private space or office, free from distractions, in which to practice
-School-based IEP experience
-Braille required at some school placements
Preferred, but not required:
-Experience providing remote, virtual services
