Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Talk Show Host based in Kolkata. The Talk Show Host will be responsible for preparing and hosting engaging talk shows, conducting interviews with guests, and delivering content tailored to the audience. Additional duties include collaborating with production teams, researching topics, scripting, and maintaining a professional on-air presence to connect with viewers effectively.

Key Responsibilities- Drive High-Level Discourse: Host long-form episodes and interviews, transitioning seamlessly between niche cinematic techniques and broad global topics.
- Strategic Content Curation: Collaborate with the creative team to identify "big picture" themes that connect Starmark Cinemas to current events and global trends.
- Expert Interviewing: Engage with high-profile guests—from industry titans and political commentators to avant-garde artists—with sophistication and depth.
- Long-Term Brand Stewardship: Serve as the consistent face and voice of the vertical, building a loyal audience through authoritative and insightful storytelling.
- Research & Synthesis: Stay ahead of the curve on global news and cultural shifts to ensure the podcast remains a primary source for "what matters now."
Requirements- The Veteran: 5+ years of experience hosting professional podcasts, radio shows, or broadcast journalism.
- The Generalist: A profound "know-how" across multiple disciplines. You should be as comfortable discussing market trends and geopolitical shifts as you are discussing art history and film theory.
- Contract Readiness: We are seeking a partner for the long haul. Candidates must be interested in a multi-year, long-term contract to grow with the brand.
- Exceptional Rhetoric: Mastery of the English language, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively.
