Requirements

1. Previously shipped high quality apps to the app store
2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields
3. Experienced in Swift for 2-5 years
4. Experienced using mobile based video processing techniques such as filtering, scaling and compression
5. Experienced using media processing frameworks such as CoreImage and ffmpeg
6. Experience in OpenGL including techniques such as texturing and shading.
7. Familiarity with Android to enable cross-team collaboration
8. Familiarity with Backend frameworks including Node.js/Python/Django/Type/Redis.
9. Familiarity with encoding/transcoding with ffmpeg

Responsibilities

1. You will be responsible for prototyping, building and maintaining several iOS apps.
2. This may include initially architecting and writing simple backend (on Firebase or something similar).
3. Be able to work independently. You are going to be the only iOS engineer so you’ll be responsible for taking architecture decisions
4. Understand product direction may change at any time so you must be ok with discarding code
5. Build beautiful product experiences that you will be proud of
6. Work with potential customers and incorporate their feedback into the app
