■ Your Role and Responsibilities
You will collaborate with colleagues and teams to develop and enhance a variety of services and features for both internal and external users:
● Consumer Application, a single-page application for users, which began as a simple payments dashboard and is now expanding into a comprehensive application. It enables consumers to view and manage the growing array of payment solutions offered.
● Merchant-facing front-end experiences designed to make it as straightforward as possible for merchants to receive and manage their payments online. Since all our merchants conduct business online, a seamless payments experience is essential. Reducing friction in this process is key.
● Admin Portal, an internal tool used by teams across the organization to investigate and manage merchants and consumers, payments and charges, partners, and settlements. By investing in internal tools, we aim to improve our operational efficiency, with each tool presenting its own set of unique front-end engineering challenges.
● Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including product, design, infrastructure, and operations specialists.
● Equip the systems with monitoring and alerting to maintain accuracy, availability, and responsiveness.
■ Experience and Qualifications
● Hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or have equivalent experience
● Enjoy crafting pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across mobile platforms using React Native
● Have experience with React.js
● Skilled in leveraging native APIs for deep integration with both iOS and Android platforms
● Familiar with native build tools, like XCode and Gradle (e.g., Android Studio, IntelliJ)
● Enjoy building UIs using modern tools such as ES6, React, Redux, Flow, and Webpack
● Have team-based software development experience and enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders
● Place a strong emphasis on performance, accessibility, and API design
● Enjoy working as a generalist, handling whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users, both internal and external
● Proactively seek to enhance user experiences, contributing design proposals through wireframes, sketches, and mockups
● Capable of integrating different services and processes, even those you're not yet familiar with
● Maintain high standards for clean, maintainable, and testable code
● Comfortable navigating a large codebase with multiple stakeholders
● Passionate about learning and unafraid to dive into new challenges
