Talin Market World Food Fare is a locally owned, long-standing international grocery store serving Albuquerque with foods and products from around the world. We are currently seeking a Meat & Seafood Clerk to join our team and support our fresh meat and seafood department.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality, cleanliness, and customer service, and who enjoys working in a hands-on grocery environment.
Pay & Schedule
- $14.00 – $16.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Part-time and full-time positions available
- Weekend availability is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Stock, rotate, and display meat and seafood products according to quality and freshness standards
- Assist customers with product selection, basic preparation questions, and special requests
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area at all times
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Monitor product quality and report issues to department leadership
- Help receive, store, and organize incoming deliveries
- Work cooperatively with other departments and team members

Requirements
- Reliable and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move product as needed
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Prior experience with meat, seafood, or grocery departments is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines
