About the Role
Qrata is a Hiring Decision System that builds teams for high growth companies. As a Talent Partner, you will be a strategic partner to global founders and leadership teams, sitting at the intersection of AI powered talent intelligence, executive search, and account management. You will own mandates end-to-end, lead a pod of specialists, and deliver the kind of advisory that shapes how startups scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Advisory & Account Management
- Own a portfolio of accounts -- serving as the primary advisor to founders, CEOs, and CHROs on talent strategy, org design, role scoping, and compensation philosophy.
- Run structured QBRs, challenge hiring briefs where needed, and guide clients from role definition through offer and onboarding.
- Identify expansion opportunities within accounts -- from single hires to team builds -- and manage expectations across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
2. Market Intelligence
- Synthesize live market data -- compensation benchmarks, talent availability, competitor hiring trends -- into structured intelligence reports and search summaries for clients.
- Leverage Qrata's platform and proprietary data to deliver evidence-based sourcing strategies and hiring timelines.
- Stay sharp on macro talent trends across SaaS, fintech, consumer, and deep tech in India, SEA, GCC, and beyond.
3. Search Execution & Candidate Advisory
- Lead discovery sessions, build Role DNA scorecards, and activate curated pipelines through proactive outreach and network leverage.
- Conduct advisory-led assessments evaluating skills, motivation, and trajectory -- presenting ranked shortlists with clear rationale.
- Manage offers, negotiations, and pre-joining engagement to ensure smooth closures with minimal drop-offs.
4. Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead a pod of Talent Associates and Researchers -- set targets, run 1:1s, and hold the team accountable for delivery quality, speed, and client satisfaction.
- Own team performance: conduct reviews, set OKRs, build growth frameworks that develop talent and differentiate high performers.
- Manage team attrition proactively -- run stay conversations, catch disengagement early, and escalate retention risks before they become exits.
- Contribute to capacity planning and pod-level hiring; run retrospectives that tighten processes and improve repeatability.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- MBA required; consulting, banking, or strategy background is a strong plus.
- 3-6 years in executive search, talent advisory, or strategic account management -- ideally with founder-led or VC-backed companies.
- 1-2 years managing a team, including performance reviews and attrition management.
- Exposure to global talent markets (India, SEA, GCC, US/EU) is highly desirable.
Skills & Attributes
- Executive presence -- confident in C-suite conversations, collaborative in delivery.
- Advisory mindset -- leads with questions, frames problems before proposing solutions.
- Market intelligence instinct -- reads signals, translates them into client-relevant insight.
- People leadership -- sets direction clearly, manages performance fairly, retains through coaching.
- Execution discipline -- organized, deadline-driven, manages multiple mandates without dropping the ball.
Why Qrata
Qrata brings two-sided talent intelligence to hiring -- combining deep market data, thousands of pre-qualified executive profiles, and a structured advisory layer that most search firms can't replicate. Our platform uses contextual intelligence and AI-assisted vetting to give clients evidence-backed shortlists and give talent a fair, ability-focused evaluation beyond a resume.
As a Talent Advisor here, you won't just place candidates -- you'll shape how high-growth companies think about talent. If you want to work at the frontier of intelligence-led hiring with some of the most ambitious founders in the world, this is the role.
