Summary & Overview of the Position:
As a Talent Operations Associate, you will architect and run the people infrastructure that powers a global, fast-growing agency. You will own the complete employee lifecycle, build scalable people systems, and leverage technology, AI, and data to drive operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone who thinks like a founder, operates with the rigor of a technologist, and leads with high emotional intelligence. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across India, the US, and the UK, balancing compliance, culture, and speed in a dynamic agency environment. If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy building from scratch, and believe technology can multiply human impact—this role will stretch and reward you. Key Responsibilities 1. Functional Bedrock – Core HR Excellence Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a seamless employee experience. Manage India-specific labor law compliance, payroll, and statutory requirements; coordinate with global partners to align with US/UK standards. Oversee monthly payroll accuracy and manage employee benefits and total rewards programs. Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and sensitive people matters with high EQ.
2. Operational Intelligence – Tech, AI & Automation Identify manual HR process bottlenecks and implement automation using AI tools (LLMs) and no code platforms (e.g., Notion, Zapier). Use data and analytics to track hiring velocity, attrition, engagement, and workforce trends; convert insights into leadership actions. Manage and optimize the HR tech stack (HRIS, ATS, LMS), ensuring data accuracy and a single source of truth.
3. Strategic Culture & Communication Drive global internal communications to keep distributed teams across India, the US, and the UK aligned and engaged. Build and support a learning culture by curating L&D initiatives focused on AI, marketing technology, and modern creative workflows. Champion internal branding and culture, ensuring company values are reflected across policies, initiatives, and employee touchpoints.
4. Professional Maturity – Agency & Global Alignment Demonstrate high ownership and a proactive, “founder’s mindset” by identifying and solving organizational gaps independently. Partner confidently with senior stakeholders in the US and UK, showing cultural awareness and executive presence. Align talent and people initiatives with broader business and P&L goals to support agency growth. What We’re Looking For
Experience 4–5 years of experience in People Operations / HR, preferably in a tech startup, digital agency, or global organization. Tech & Tools Strong proficiency with modern tools such as Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace. Hands-on curiosity and working knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or similar). A natural pattern recognizer who can connect data points, identify trends, and act decisively. Comfortable working in ambiguity and building systems from the ground up. Communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse stakeholders. Leadership / Cultural Competencies Although not a requirement, we are interested in candidates that have or identify with the following characteristics:
Is a self-starter and proactive, who looks to take initiative.
Does not need a lot of hand holding, and can thrive in a young, entrepreneurial environment. Looks to ask questions / has a spirit of inquiry.
