Role: Senior Manager - Talent Management
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
1. Career Path Mapping & Governance
- Map employees to defined career paths and ensure the career framework remains live, relevant, and continuously updated.
- Ensure visibility, consistency, and traceability of career progression across divisions and functions.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to align role architectures, career levels, and progression criteria.
- Support interpretation and application of career paths during movement, promotion, and redeployment decisions.
2. Internal Movement Execution
- Drive internal movement of employees (Manager level and above) across levels, divisions, and functions in line with approved career path guidelines.
- Ensure proactive job rotation for commercially sensitive or critical roles as per the approved rotation policy.
- Coordinate redeployment of surplus employees into suitable roles aligned with skills, experience, and business needs.
- Monitor movement timelines and escalate exceptions, delays, or misalignment to VP – Talent Management with supporting insights.
3. Internal Job Posting (IJP) Management
- Administer the Internal Job Posting (IJP) process end-to-end, ensuring transparency, fairness, and timely closure.
- Partner with HRBPs and hiring managers to ensure role clarity, eligibility adherence, and consistent selection standards.
- Track and analyze application trends, selection outcomes, time-to-fill, and post-movement impact.
- Generate dashboards and insights to strengthen internal mobility effectiveness and governance.
4. Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) & Exit Governance
- Administer Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), ensuring structured documentation, progress tracking, and timely closure.
- Ensure governance compliance, consistency of approach, and adherence to policy across PIP cases.
- Coordinate the handover of exit cases to the Exit Group with complete documentation and audit-ready records.
- Provide data and insights on PIP-to-movement, PIP-to-exit trends, and systemic themes.

- Strong understanding of career frameworks, job architecture, and internal mobility models

- Ability to handle sensitive employee situations with confidentiality and judgment
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
Education & Experience
- MBA / master’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
- 10 – 12 years of experience in Talent Management, Internal Mobility, Career Management, or HR Governance
- Proven experience managing internal movement, IJPs, or structured talent programs in large or complex organizations
