About The Role
We’re building the TCRM platform—a Talent CRM that applies the discipline of modern growth marketing to every stage of the workforce journey: sourcing candidates, converting them to placements, engaging active contractors and employees on client sites, and redeploying or rehiring alumni. The Director, Talent Lifecycle Marketing, owns this function end to end.
This is a hybrid marketing, operations, and talent leadership role. You’ll think like a growth marketer (funnels, segmentation, automation, attribution), build like a marketing ops leader (data model, tooling, workflows), and care like a talent leader (candidate and contractor experience, trust, retention).
The TCRM platform is AI-native. It includes AI chatbots for always-on candidate and contractor conversations and an AI-powered omnichannel layer that orchestrates personalized outreach across email, SMS, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, voice, and web—with the right message, on the right channel, at the right moment in the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- The full talent lifecycle marketing strategy: candidate sourcing and nurture, placement conversion, contractor engagement, redeployment, alumni, and rehire.
- The TCRM platform and roadmap — data model, integrations, automation workflows, scoring models (fit, engagement, flight risk), and analytics.
- Candidate and worker lifecycle engagement campaigns end-to-end—including candidate welcome and nurture, skill-matched job alerts, re-engagement of passive talent, interview prep and status updates, offer and pre-boarding sequences, silver-medalist nurture, worker onboarding (day 1, week 1, 30/60/90), active-assignment pulse and NPS, milestone and recognition touches, flight-risk intervention, assignment-ending redeployment (T-90/60/30), bench engagement, off-boarding, and alumni and referral programs.
- Candidate and worker microsegmentation-based global campaigns—designing and running highly targeted campaigns across geographies, with microsegments defined by skill cluster, seniority, certification, vertical, client context, language, region, work authorization, availability, engagement score, and behavioral signals. Localizing content, channel mix, cadence, and compliance posture by market while maintaining a coherent global program.
- Candidate and worker micro-skilling-based global campaigns—using short-form, targeted learning (microlearning modules, nano-credentials, badges, certifications) as a core engagement and retention lever. Personalized skill journeys mapped to in-demand capabilities and client needs, gamified completion paths, AI-recommended next skills, and credential-driven re-marketing into new roles. Partnering with L&D and content providers to deliver localized, role-relevant micro-skilling at scale across regions.
- The AI chatbot strategy — conversational agents for candidate screening, FAQs, interview scheduling, contractor check-ins, redeployment conversations, and 24/7 support. You’ll own the use cases, guardrails, escalation paths, and quality benchmarks.
- The AI-powered omnichannel engagement layer—channel orchestration, send-time optimization, message personalization, intent detection, and unified conversation history across email, SMS, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, voice, and web.
- Funnel analytics and reporting: source-to-placement conversion, time-in-stage, contractor NPS and retention cohorts, cost-per-placement, redeployment rate, micro-skilling completion and skill-to-placement uplift, and AI-driven engagement metrics (chatbot containment, response rates, and channel performance).
- Partnership with Recruiting, Account Management, HR, L&D, and Engineering / AI teams to align workflows, model behavior, and SLAs across the candidate and contractor journey.
- Compliance, consent, and responsible AI frameworks across the regions we operate in (GDPR, EEOC, EU AI Act, state-level automated decisioning rules), including transparency in AI-driven interactions and human-in-the-loop safeguards for high-stakes decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, recruitment marketing, or talent operations — ideally a blend.
- Demonstrated ownership of a CRM or marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Customer.io, Bullhorn, Beanery, Gem, or similar) including data model and workflow design.
- Proven track record designing and operating lifecycle engagement campaigns at scale — multi-stage, multi-channel, behavior-triggered.
- Experience running micro segmentation-driven global campaigns across multiple geographies, languages, and regulatory regimes.
- Familiarity with microlearning, nano-credentials, or skills-based talent strategies, and using learning content as an engagement and conversion lever.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI chatbots or conversational AI (Paradox, Sense, Mya, Intercom Fin, custom LLM-based agents) and omnichannel orchestration platforms.
- Strong analytical foundation: funnel metrics, cohort analysis, A/B testing, attribution, and evaluation of AI/LLM-driven workflows.
- Experience designing segmentation and scoring models, ideally including ML- or AI-assisted scoring.
- Excellent written communication — you’ll set the voice for how we (and our AI agents) talk to thousands of candidates and contractors.
- Comfort operating across Marketing, Recruiting, HR, L&D, AI/Engineering, and Legal stakeholders.
- Bonus: staffing, professional services, or contingent workforce background; experience with employment-law-aware AI automation and responsible-AI governance.
