About the role
A shipment is not complete because it has left the warehouse. It is complete when it reaches the right destination, is accepted correctly and the exceptions are resolved.
We need someone who understands that journey—and knows how to make it
work.
The work
Select transport options, negotiate freight rates and manage shipments through pickup, movement, receiving appointments and delivery acceptance.
Work with carriers, warehouses and receiving teams to prevent delays and resolve rejected deliveries, shortages, damage and other exceptions.
Check freight charges, maintain delivery evidence and pursue claims.
Use what happens on the ground to improve carrier choices, service commitments and costs.
The person
You have practical experience in freight, transport networks, express distribution or logistics operations.
You understand how rates are constructed, how routes and services differ, and
where to escalate when a shipment stops moving.
You can negotiate intelligently and distinguish a cheap quote from a dependable transport solution.
You bring a plan when things go wrong-not just a tracking update.
