Role Description
To lead the people development and capability building initiatives for Managerial Staff across the organization through a robust and dynamic Talent Development function.
Ensuring a strong TNI mechanism
· Finalise approach and methodology for conducting TNI process across the organisation
· Partner with HR Heads at all locations for reviewing & finalising developmental needs
· Interact with HR Heads identify any location-specific Developmental interventions
· Proactively identify training needs of people who are probable successors to critical role holders
Ensuring timely preparation, release and adherence to Training Calendar
· Finalise Annual and Quarterly training calendar in consultation with HR Heads
· Ensure adherence to training calendar
· Prepare Training Calendar related MIS
Developing Deccan-specific training Contents
· Partner with external development partners to develop Deccan specific training modules
IT Enablement
· Propose IT enablement initiatives in talent development function
Ensuring development and roll-out of deccan flagship development-oriented offerings
· Understanding the Deccan requirements through amalgamation of Deccan requirements and Industry practices
· Designing (with or without external help) and implementing Grade/Role/Function/Career Event based development programmes
· Designing and implementing the common part of the Deccan induction/orientation programme
· Designing and rolling out Deccan-specific mandatory modules, like POSH/Code of Conduct, etc.
Implementing alternate vehicles of development
· Identifying and recommending new-age development vehicles and platforms
· Identifying and proposing already established e-learning platforms
Handling behavioural development aspects of Deccan equivalent of the Deccan equivalent of Hi-Pot Schemes
· Collation of developmental inputs for identified Hi-Pots from across location
· Designing a development journey
· Implementing and monitoring effectiveness of the journey
· Leadership programmes for the ‘ready-now’ and future streams of identified leaders
Vendor Evaluation and identification
· Assessing cost-effective suitability of training and development partners on a pan Deccan basis
