About the Role
We’re looking for a high-ownership Talent Acquisition Partner who operates like a talent strategist and executes like a recruiter-athlete. This role goes beyond traditional hiring — you will own talent intelligence, build deep talent maps, and drive high-quality tech hiring pipelines across engineering, product, and business-critical roles. You’ll work closely with founders and leadership to build high-caliber teams in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment.
Responsibilities
End-to-End Tech Hiring
- Drive full-cycle recruitment across Engineering, Product, Data, and startup business roles
- Own everything from role scoping → sourcing → assessment → closing
Talent Mapping & Market Intelligence
- Build structured talent maps for key roles and competitor landscapes
- Identify passive talent across startups, product companies, and EV/clean-tech ecosystem
- Continuously track talent movement, compensation benchmarks, and skill trends
Sourcing Excellence
- Leverage advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean, X-ray, niche platforms)
- Build strong pipelines using LinkedIn, GitHub, communities, and referrals
- Engage and convert high-quality passive candidates
Stakeholder Partnership
- Work directly with hiring managers, founders, and leadership
- Influence hiring decisions with data and market insights
- Push for speed, quality, and bar-raising talent
Candidate Experience
- Deliver a high-touch, fast, and transparent candidate journey
- Build strong candidate relationships and employer recall
Employer Branding (Startup Lens)
- Position BLive as a high-growth, mission-driven workplace
- Contribute to hiring campaigns, storytelling, and talent outreach
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in startup / product / tech hiring
- Strong track record in engineering and product hiring
- Hands-on expertise in talent mapping and passive sourcing
- Deep understanding of startup hiring dynamics (speed + quality trade-offs)
- Strong stakeholder management — ability to challenge and influence
- High ownership mindset with bias for action
Required Skills
- Experience hiring for EV, mobility, SaaS, or deep-tech startups
- Exposure to early-stage or scaling environments (0→1 / 1→10 journeys)
- Familiarity with ATS, sourcing tools, and talent analytics
