The Role
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who owns hiring end-to-end — someone who can run multiple open roles simultaneously, build pipelines proactively, and close candidates with confidence.
This is not a coordination role. This is an ownership role.
You’ll work closely with our HR Manager but operate with full autonomy on day-to-day execution. Beyond hiring, you’re someone who is naturally organised, detail-oriented, and doesn’t need to be told twice to close a loop — which means you’ll occasionally step in on people operations when needed, and it’ll feel like second nature.
As we grow, so will you. This role is built to evolve into leading our recruiting function — managing recruiters and recruitment vendors as we scale.
What You’ll Own
Talent Acquisition — 70%
- Drive end-to-end hiring across multiple open positions simultaneously — sourcing, screening, coordinating, closing
- Build proactive talent pipelines through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach
- Own the candidate experience from first touchpoint to Day 1 — offer rollouts, joining formalities, and onboarding
- Maintain sharp, real-time hiring trackers and pipeline data
- Represent MyYogaTeacher with confidence and warmth in every candidate interaction
Beyond Hiring — 30%
When you’re not in hiring mode, you’ll occasionally support:
- Employee queries, attendance, leaves, and documentation
- Engagement activities — Fun Fridays, R&R, and team events
- Light admin — vendor coordination, office supplies, as needed
- (Fully supported by the HR Manager)
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- 2 – 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience — you’ve owned roles from sourcing to offer, not just coordinated interviews
- Ability to manage 5–8 open positions simultaneously without losing quality or momentum
- Strong spoken English and candidate-facing confidence — you can sell a role, handle objections, and make candidates feel valued
- Experience at a fast-scaling startup (Series A, ~100-person environment) strongly preferred
- Hands-on with job portals, ATS tools, and Excel / Google Sheets
Behaviourally, You Are Someone Who:
- Closes loops without being asked
- Documents and tracks obsessively — nothing falls through the cracks
- Switches context easily — from a sourcing sprint to an employee query — without losing focus
- Builds process where none exists, rather than waiting for one
- Takes feedback well and moves fast
Note: Prior HR ops experience is a plus, not a requirement. If you’re a strong recruiter who is naturally organised and process-oriented, we will invest in bringing you up to speed on the ops side.
