About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced US IT Recruiter to join our staffing team at CBTS in Chennai. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing, screening, and hiring IT professionals to meet the needs of our direct clients and vendor partners across the United States. This position requires a deep understanding of IT technologies, US hiring practices, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment. The US IT Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building strong relationships with candidates, clients, and vendors, and ensuring timely placement of qualified professionals in various IT roles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a US IT Recruiter, with a minimum of [insert specific experience requirement] years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of IT skills and technologies such as Java, .NET, Cloud Computing, DevOps, SAP, QA, Data roles, among others.
- Expertise in utilizing US job portals like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and Indeed, along with Boolean search techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently during US time zones and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of US visa classifications (H1B, GC, OPT, CPT, USC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD) and employment models (W2, C2C, 1099).
- Knowledge of US HR compliance and hiring standards is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for US IT requirements, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Source candidates through various platforms such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and Indeed to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Evaluate candidates based on technical skills, experience, and communication abilities to ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Work with different employment models including W2, C2C, and 1099, and understand US tax terms and visa classifications such as H1B, GC, OPT, CPT, USC, GC-EAD, and H4-EAD.
- Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and candidate pipelines to facilitate smooth hiring processes.
- Negotiate rates, salaries, and employment terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Schedule interviews, follow up with candidates, and manage the entire hiring lifecycle to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Maintain an active database of qualified candidates for current and future requirements.
- Meet daily and weekly hiring targets by delivering quality results in a dynamic US staffing environment.
