About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Manager – Talent Acquisition to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment processes across various functions, ensuring that upGrad attracts top-tier talent to support our rapid growth and strategic objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to building strong talent pipelines, collaborating with business leaders to understand hiring needs, and delivering a seamless candidate experience. The Manager – Talent Acquisition will also play a key role in enhancing our employer brand and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to stay ahead in a competitive talent market.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within fast-paced, high-growth organizations. Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and high-volume hiring is essential. The candidate should have a proven track record of closing roles efficiently within tight deadlines and possess familiarity with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and various job portals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand role requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through various sourcing channels, including social media, job portals, networking events, and campus hiring.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to ensure the selection of high-quality candidates.
- Drive employer branding initiatives and implement innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for process improvement and optimize hiring efficiency.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and a professional interview process.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team to enhance their performance and capabilities.
