Role Overview:-
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Intern to join our HR team at Newton School. This is a hands-on role where you will gain exposure to the complete recruitment lifecycle while supporting hiring across Tech & Non-tech roles. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to source, screen, and coordinate interviews, while ensuring a seamless candidate experience. This internship offers real ownership, structured learning, and strong exposure to fast-paced startup hiring.
What You'll Do:-

Sourcing- Support sourcing efforts across job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
- Conduct talent mapping and build pipelines for ongoing and future hiring needs.
- Screen resumes to identify suitable candidates based on role requirements.
- Assist in drafting job posts and outreach messages.
- Support campus outreach and bulk hiring initiatives.

Candidate Coordination- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct initial screening calls to assess basic role fit and communication skills.
- Ensure smooth communication throughout the recruitment process.

Recruitment Operations- Maintain and update candidate trackers, dashboards, and ATS systems.
- Support offer rollout coordination and document collection.
- Track hiring metrics and assist in preparing recruitment reports.
Who You Are:-
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (HR preferred).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable using Google Sheets / Excel and basic online tools.
- Detail-oriented with a high sense of ownership.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn recruitment in a high-growth environment.
